About Robyn

Bonjour, gorgeous! I’m so glad you stopped by!

I’m quite certain you have more important things to do with your time than to read about me, yet here you are.

If it’s any incentive to keep you reading & to make it worth your time, know that there is a free coffee waiting for you at the end of all of this.

As you may have guessed from my greeting, or if you already follow along with me on social media, my alter ego is a French girl. From my love of breads and pastries, to my minimalist beauty routine and love of effortless style, I’m quite certain that somewhere in my DNA is a Parisian woman. Ancestry says I’m mostly Swedish and touch of Iberian Peninsula (where the heck is my pigment?), but maybe one of my ancestors had a romantic Parisian fling en route to America. I’d like to think so.

I’m OBSESSED with miniature things, especially food items. Just the other day I found mini Brie bites at Trader Joe’s, and I thought there was nothing left in life after that.

If I could choose only 1 meal for the rest of my life, it would be all of the sugar cereals. Yes, I know it’s incredibly unhealthy but there is just something about a meal in a bowl that is extremely satisfying. I am very proud of myself that I have the strength to partake only for special occasions, and have become really good at cooking healthier alternatives that still make sense in my bowls. Let me know if you want the world’s best chili recipe!

I was a licensed professional and in the finance industry for about 10 years, before quitting to pursue photography in the boudoir niche. Although photography is my main focus, I’m still passionate about several things from finance, to shelling & rock hounding (something I inherited from my grandmother) and even animal welfare. Life is too short to have a single obsession.

My idea of a perfect day, would be hanging out under a pergola or vineyard with a glass of wine, some cheese & those closest to me.

I’m not into Zodiac signs or crystals, but I do find personality types really fascinating. I know they aren’t THE BIBLE, but they are really helpful in understanding yourself.

My favorite season is the fall, and of course…my favorite holiday is Halloween.

Comedies & horror movies over lame Rom Coms. They just don’t make romantic movies like they used to, and this makes me sad; and who doesn’t like a good stabbing? (If you’re a police officer reading this, I’m totally kidding.)

I was born in the 80’s and can’t imagine a better decade (including the 90’s) to grow up in. Just enough technology where life wasn’t as much of a struggle….but technology free enough that I played outside with real kids instead of scrolling on my phone.

I can quote every line of The Princess Bride.

I’ll never be able to decide if I like the beach or mountains better. I grew up in the beautiful state of Montana, but after having the opportunity to travel as I’ve gotten older, and having lived in several states, there is just too much beauty on this Earth to settle for thinking there is only 1 perfect spot to hang your hat.

Sometimes I get lost on YouTube & all social media watching animal rescue videos, and would die happy if I ever get the chance to just live on my own land and tend to my garden and whatever rescues “the distribution system” puts in my lap. I’m not sure that’s a solid retirement plan, but I’m okay with finding out.

Well, here you are…still reading about me. I guess that means you’ve earned your free coffee. Where would you like to go? Send me a text or drop me an email; it’s a date!

Au revoir,

Robyn
